jpegdec fails to decode gray scale jpeg image

Hi All,
           I have a gray scale jpeg image of size 2544X3360. I am using
following pipeline to decode and display this image.

          gst-launch  filesource location=sampleimage.jpg ! jpegparse !
jpegdec !  xvimagesink

          But I am getting internal data flow error from filesrc (it seems
jpegdec fails to decode it). Can Somebody Suggest me what exactly i am doing
wrong?
