pipeline Rtsp - avi

Hi everyone, I need to do streaming using RSTP protocol. All the files are
avi format. I read a message that avi isn't a srtrameable format. Is that
right?
Some issues I need to point out: I need a pipeline with subtitles and a
clock.

I appreciate any suggestions/readings of a pipeline example and what kind
of conversion is the  more accurate best from an avi to a streamable one.
