Using multichannel soundcard with gstreamer

ok i'll give it a try,
here is another problem .....when i'm just playing using gst-launch and set
alsasink to use device=hw:1,0 which is my soundcard 1010 , i get an error
saying that cannot negociate format.... any ideas???
