Test suite for gstreamer plugin

Hi All, 

I integrated flac decoder in gstreamer,
now i want to test this decoder, 
Is there any standard way to test gstreamer plugin...?

i tested with gst-launch, but i think this is not testing entire
functionality(link unref all objects, buffers).

please suggest any standard method to test plugins.
