meaning of arrows in the gstreamer dot graph?

Hello all

What is the exact meaning of the arrows [>] and [<] added in the
automatically generated dot graph when running a pipeline with
GST_DEBUG_DUMP_DOT_DIR flag enabled?

Does it correspond to the pull/push mode information?
