It seems broken for me too. Works outside playbin, but not inside, it
feels like there is a video stream being detected.

Example working pipeline:
        
        gst-launch-1.0 -v souphttpsrc \
          location=http://live-cdn1.smgbb.tv/channels/bbtv/audio_dgxw/flv:fm/live ! \
          flvdemux name=demux ! mad ! pulsesink
        
Could you open a bug on bugs.gnome.org ?
