Hi,

I'm running Debian Sid amd64 with GNOME.

As you know, Debian Sid already has GStreamer 1.2 in its repositories
(thanks for that!).

I'd like to test gstreamer-vaapi on my Intel Ivy Bridge system.

I've downloaded gstreamer-vaapi sources [1] and run
$ ./autogen.sh
But then i get that error message :
No package 'gstreamer-basevideo-1.0' found

On Ubuntu Bug tracker it is said that "GST_BASEVIDEO is gone from
-plugins-bad, so unless it's new origin is discovered there's no way
to get this working" [2]

I couldn''t find any information on how compiling gstreamer-vaapi for
Debian but i see that there is a debian.upstream repository in
gstreamer-vaapi sources. Though i don't know what to do with it nor if
it's related to my problem.

Could you please help me or tell me where can i find information on
how compiling gstreamer-vaapi for Debian ?

Thanks

Thibaut, France.
