compiling a plugin

Hello All,

Please can any one list the steps to compile a plugin with gstreamer-1.0
for UBUNTU

I have downloaded gstreamer-1.0 source code for filesink plugin, and i want
to modify it according to my application.

 how can i install modified plugin in gstreamer-1.0 core to work out it
with gst-launch-1.0

please help with the concern with detailed steps, *and* *I dont want to use
make element tool for creating the elements.*
