You could try:

gst-launch-1.0 -v souphttpsrc location=<mp4 location> ! decodebin !
videoconvert ! Autovideosink


Ideally playbin should be used like suggested by Tim earlier.

Can you play the generated mp4 from your server side filesrc on a player
like vlc?
