The case of the missing identity!

Hi,

I'm trying to use a pipeline in Android using the identity element.

ie : souphttpsrc location=http://localhost:7921 ! matroskademux ! vp8dec ! videoconvert ! pngenc name=pngenc ! identity name=identity ! filesink location=snapshot.png

At runtime I get the error : I/GLib+stdout( 7316): no element with name "identity" found

Isn't identity supposed to be part of the coreelements plugin ? I don't understand why it isn't being found. I compiled my static libraries using cerbero (version : HEAD)

Any ideas ???? Am I doing something really stupid?
