Speed up video?

Playback speed (as well as several other playback parameters) are
controlled by injecting SEEK events into the playback pipeline. Check out
http://gstreamer.freedesktop.org/data/doc/gstreamer/head/gstreamer/html/GstElement.html#gst-element-seek
