In same element,how do sink pad data transfer to myself src pad ?

please look at carefully, I say In same element .don't different element. at
downflow type case, upflow element src pad calls chainfunc function of
downflow element sink pad to transfer data to downflow element sink pad .
then how do downflow element transferes data from itself sink pad to itself
src pad after I deal this data in chainfunc function ?

anybody have any idea for me.   thank you very much for spending your time
on my this stupid question .
