EOS on imagefreeze element

Hi all!
I am currently using the imagefreeze element in front of a videomixer to 
overlay a logo on the video.

I have found in the source code that imagefreeze drops all EOS events to 
prevent the pipeline from stopping when its upstream filesrc element 
sends EOS after the first frame.

So what is the proper way to stop the whole pipeline?
