Cross-platform testing of pipelines

I want to test my pipelines on different operating systems, but I have only
Windows 7 like host and Linux Ubuntu and Mac OS X on my VirtualBox. Due to
virtualization not all functions of these OS can be used, so this leads to
problems and issues which can't be solved quickly and this is undoubtedly
impeding the development process. So how I can quickly create pipeline and
test it on different platforms or how can I know whether it will work on
these OS?
