Thanks Perry. There are plenty of eyes on bugzilla, and it's indeed the
right place to post patches, but we were working on getting a major
release out (1.6) last week, and your patch wasn't something to add
last minute. Someone will look at it sooner or later, please ping on
the bug again if you haven't heard anything after a week or two.
