udpsrc timeouts

Thanks for the pointer to -m! That will make things much easier.
I am running 1.6.3 under Mint Linux 13, and 1.6.3 under a custom Linux
build. Both of them exhibit the same failure.

I'm working around this with an identity element, and using the handoff
signal to determine packets are being received, but that's not ideal.
