Help for writing a hw codec plugin

Hi,

can you post the API for this hw codec?
I might be able to point out some features that could be improved for 
integration into GStreamer, libav, and others.
I have also written the gstreamer-imx plugins, a set of GStreamer 1.0 
plugins for the Freescale/NXP i.MX6 VPU.
