Gstreamer SDK Android Tutotrials with Android Studio

I try to compile the gst-launch-remote project with Android Studio 2.2 but
without success.

I downloaded gstreamer-1.0-android-armv7-1.8.3.tar.bz2 and extracted it to a
folder. I also specified the folder in my
~/.gradle/gradle.properties file (gstAndroidRoot). 
But now if I try to build the project I get many errors. As far as I can see
it tries to compile the code for the aarch64-liunx-android-4.9 target, what
results in errors like "incompatible target". Where can I specify the
target, or how can I add different gstAndroidRoot paths for every target?
