adder vs liveadder... mixing two async streams

Hi all,

I need to mix two asynchronous audio sources and I tried to use "adder" and
"liveadder".

The first is ok, but works only when both sources are streaming.
The second works well even if one of the sources is not streaming, but the
output is very noisy.

Do you know why "liveadder" has this problem?
