Something like this.

videotestsrc -> tee -> queue -> myOwnAnnotationElement -> autovideosink
                             |
                             |
                             |
                             |
                             |
                              -> queue -> motioncells (sends messages on the
Bus) -> fakesink

The main application catches ths messages from motioncells and puts them in
my annotation element.
