Pause and resume live video with latest frames without affecting the sink

Hi,

I did a workaround by using element 'identity' instead of 'valve', and
setting the property 'drop-probability' based on timeout. With these I am
able to pause and resume the video. 
I still need to figure out a way to apply the 'gltransformations' on a
paused video.
