Pause and resume live video with latest frames without affecting the sink

Hi,

So I managed to pause the video by using the "drop" proeprty of "valve"
element, with a timeout. However, after the same amount of timeout, I am
trying to set the "drop=false", but this does not make the video resume. The
video renderer has a fixed image now and even the "gltransformation" is not
applicable. 

Does anyone have a hand on this issue?
