git is FROZEN for release

Hi,

Please consider git FROZEN for releases from this evening 20.00 UTC.

Nothing should be pushed or merged to the master branch from then on
without explicit approval from myself (or Sebastian if I'm not around),
please ping us on IRC.

Plan is to roll 1.17.90 very soon, with master staying frozen until
1.18 is out.
