Play DVD title/chapter using playbin or rsndvdbin

Hello people,


I am trying to play a single chapter from a DVD title. Ideally I would 
use dvdreadsrc, but it is a bit buggy - it randomly crashes or hangs 
when I send it a full seek with a stop position.

As an alternative, I tried both playbin and rsndvdbin, but both of them 
just display the root menu and don't react to seeking (tried title, 
chapter and time formats.

Could somebody please provide some pointers on how to get rid of the 
menu and seek to a specific title/chapter? A snippet of code or a 
gst-launch line would make me eternally grateful.
