Coercing a branch of your pipeline to have updated running time

Hi all,

I’m noticing that a part of my pipeline that feeds into
a mixer will fall behind the running time of the pipeline (and pts values
also affected), and then “correct” after about N seconds pass. The part of
my
Pipeline where this happens is for an RTP source. RTP source sends when it
has data, and doesn’t send anything when it doesn’t have data.

Where in gstreamer would this correction logic on pts values be?
