Registry corruption issue - what could the cause be?

Hi Bill,
In gstreamer 1.21.x, the soup plugin loads libsoup dynamically, and it
prefers libsoup3 over libsoup2. Perhaps there is a bug somewhere in
there. Do you have a way to reproduce this reliably?
