Yeah, that's true.

It's not really optimal, I agree. But it should be a rather minimal
change (either in hal or the kpowersave / powersaved) packages;
basically just a string change I believe? (Btw, I'm going to bump the
soname of libpolkit.so too because of some other changes)

It would and I will. I'm just slow mostly because there's a lot of RHEL4
and RHEL5 work eating up my time; it's like it's never going away :-(
