I forgot to mention that Xegl (and Xserver soon) use the evdev
interface. That means that a USB HID device plugged into a hub owned
by the user would need to end up creating /dev/input/eventX nodes that
belong to the logged in user. There should also be some kind of
notification that a new input device has appeared.
