No I don't actually.

And, btw, it sounds to me like you should upgrade to the latest and
greatest from your distro; ie. if you running SUSE or Fedora, go catch
the latest development version of that Linux distribution - these
distros, in particular (and IMHO), do a very good job shipping of sane
versions of HAL that work out of the box. YMMV.

Personally, I'd recommend Fedora Core but I'm tainted as I work for Red
Hat :-)
