HAL 0.4.3 & mountpoint naming

upgraded to HAL 0.4.3 last night, i manually modify the storage-policy.fdi 
each time i upgrade, and for the past 2 releases that i've remembered i've 
noticed that disks get added as say 'usbdisk' or 'idedisk' etc rather than 
the volume label and if not thne fallback on the $bus'disk' naming scheme.
i was just looking in the .fdi to fix it and noticed, from what i can tell, 
this is setup correctly. is this a known issue?
