Yes, I'm pretty sure that it applies to the Nikon Coolpix 995.

Of course, this will also require a patch to g-v-m such that no
action is performed when camera.access_method=storage; right
now it pops up two dialogs; one because HAL says it's a gphoto2
support camera and one because it discovers the DCIM/ folder.
