Changes from 003:

* More glib support to remove the need for hardcoded length strings.
* Made lots of improvements to the caching functions .
* headers are now pmu/acpi specific.
* lots of malloc/free errors found and fixed, thanks valgrind!
* misc fixes from Paul for battery, and system.battery.charge_level.*
* more general functions.
* header files are now _common/_acpi/_pmu.h * a procfs_seporate function
to extract data (e.g. the 11523 from "11523 mWh")

To-Do:
* more complete properties for all the devices
* processor speed measurements from sysfs
(don't worry about throttling yet)
* A polling specification for each object (Danny?)
* Better PMU support (Sjoerd)

If you want to see the newest bits of code for ACPI, add -DEXPERIMENTAL to
the gcc options and you'll get the acpi buttons and the toshiba video
extensions. These two are still very much experimental!

Comments as usual please.

(David, When it's ready to create a patch to head, where do you want me to
put the files within the HAL tree?)

Richard
