Ok, I just reverted the patch for now, until we figure out why some
distros that far behind. If there is not a really good reason for them,
I think we should not care too much in the future and force them to catch
up. :)

Hmm, the thing is that on the usual architectures these headers are not a
real problem, but the more exotic ones are causing all sort of problems.
I don't think, that we should import these kind of problems into the HAL
source. :)
