I think it makes sense for Fedora to have such a script. Bill, what do
you think?

Or distros should probably figure out to have a set of unified power
management user space tools themselves. Again, ideally, I'd like all
distros to share but as I see it this is not the case. I'd love to be
proven wrong though.
