hall and autofs

Hi all,

I look after autofs and I've had a couple of reports about file systems
being immediately remounted after they have expired and stopping the HAL
daemon stops it from happening. Apparently it has started recently,
Fedora Core 5. It contains version 0.5.7.

Anyone able to direct me to the right place in the code base or offer
any suggestion as to how to resolve this problem?
