IEEE1394 Device listing

Hey all,

When I make a list of all the hardware connected to my computer I have a
problem with firewire devices:

I have an apple iSight plugged in and I get the following 2 devices in HAL:

Is HAL telling me that it doesn't know what the hell a isight is? is there
not a standard way to get firewire device information such as product_id?
This is a big problem for me because it means firewire devices will be
ignored from my lists. broken.
