[RFC] hald optimizations

Hi!

I have 4 patches submitted to bugzilla bugs
9320 hald optimisation: mallopt usage
9322 hald FDI cache
9323 hald stack consumption reduction
9324 Reduce memory fragmentation by replacing several function...

which are mostly about memory fragmentation, and a little of stack
optimizations.

I'd like to see comments on this.
