Device not ready - messages with YAMAHA CDRW8424S

Hello,

hald is printing that messages below to the active console continously.

/var/log/messages:
Feb  7 10:16:48 a9 kernel: Device not ready. Make sure there is a disc in the 
drive.
Feb  7 10:17:19 a9 last message repeated 15 times

The messages disappear if I load a cdrom in my SCSI CD-Rewriter YAMAHA 
CDRW8424S or when killing hald.

There some more devices connected to the same SCSI-Bus, but only with 
CDRW8424S the problem exists.
None of that messages appear for Plextor PX-83Cx, Plextor PX-40TSI CDROMs or 
Fujitsu M2513A MODs.

What can I do ?

I'm using Debian GNU Linux Sid, lust updated at Feb. 6, 2006.
