Switching to git

I have no idea why, but I can't run: 
	
	git clone ssh://git.freedesktop.org/hal.git

I get always this error message:

	fatal: '/hal.git': unable to chdir or not a git archive
	fatal: unexpected EOF
	fetch-pack from 'ssh://git.freedesktop.org/hal.git' failed.

Is something broken? Maybe with my HAL commit account?
