haldaemon just dies, how to analyse ?

Hi Soren/Artem,

I just got hal to work again.

I moved back to using the same version ofr i386 and X86-64 and after that I 
found that the /etc/rc.d/init.d/haldaemon script contained an invalid option 
(--use-syslog).
Somehow I think that also disabling SElinux lead me to seeing this issue 
because I didn't notice this problem before.

Anyway, now it works again and I can use my USB disks the way I use to.
