I don't think so, because you/or any other user maybe (re)mount the device 
also if it is already mounted only because we don't know the mount state. 
This need to be fixed. And btw. there is maybe not only the user which 
chooses to mount via autofs. This could also be root or a other user. IMO we 
need the correct mount state for internal devices at least because the key 
volume.is_mounted is mandatory (for me this also mean the property should be 
correct).
