You're welcome. I just had a report from the hal maintainer (unofficial)
from Slackware, and he reports that the stock glib, 2.10.3 shipped with
Slackware-11 does _NOT_ exhibit this problem. This must have been a new
"feature" thrown into to the 2.12.x series just for YOU! Not sure what the
cutoff is, or if any versions other than 2.12.4 and maybe 5 are affected.
Might be something worth documenting or at least checking.

Anyway, I just wanted you to know.
