Strange things..with 2.6.20-rc4

The problem is still present
i forgot to said
i use the new driver pata
so all my devices are not hd*
but sd* and sr*
If i insert an usb pen
and restart hal,kde recognize it as usb pen
if i remove the pen and reinsert it...become an hard disk!
