Sounds like a good idea. Sufficient to just leave a comment in the file?
Or did you want something more fancy like merging a property saying
essentially saying no quirks are needed? 

(the latter is probably the right answer since it allows higher level
software a'la gnome-device-manager to display just a smiley along with
the message "suspend will work" (of course if suspend then doesn't work
all more then reason to piss of the user)).
