hald DIEing

Hi

I have a fujitsu S series lifebook notepad (quite old P3) with an updated
fedora core 8 installed.
recently (probably linked to some update, but I cannot say exactly when)
hald does not start.
I attach the output from hald --daemon=no --verbose=yes
