Well, "please revert now (patch attached)" is perhaps not the best way
to start a constructive discussion...but I thought this thread so far
was much better than the previous one in terms of being constructive.

There is indeed little point in continuing this discussion before David
returns, since his plans for DeviceKit are very relevant for deciding where
the shutdown/reboot functionality ends up.

For the record, I would't object if shutdown/reboot functionality ends
up being its own little service.
