I won't be able to check devkit-disks on this system for 6 months (until we package and ship Devicekit-Disks in a Mandriva release) but from a 
quick look at your patch for DK-D, it won't work, since it doesn't cover WinRE label.

And I still think the patch should also go in hal tree, until hal is no longer used by various desktop environment (currently, only GNOME is doing the switch and it isn't complete nor available in a stable GNOME release).
