for cairo+pango approach (does not expose harfbuzz or freetype
directly), and https://github.com/lxnt/ex-sdl-freetype-harfbuzz for
freetype/harfbuzz approach (does not require cairo or pango).

There is also an example of using pango+freetype, skipping cairo and
hiding harfbuzz under pango here:
