Please correct me if I'm wrong but this is what I see:
Game uses(/defines) "__my_cool_macro".
Khronos says: "__my_cool_macro" could be something in the future, you shouldn't
use it.
Mesa says: "__my_cool_macro" could be something in the future, you're not
allowed to use it.

So, seriously, what's the point? The blobs (nvidia, fglrx) seem to allow it and
I can't see any harm.
