Bug ID: 99434
Summary: Intel 6700 HD 530 hdmi never wakes up after suspend
Product: Mesa
Version: unspecified
Hardware: Other
OS: All
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: Drivers/DRI/i965
Assignee: intel-3d-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
Reporter: hnr2k6 at gmail.com
QA Contact: intel-3d-bugs at lists.freedesktop.org
Seems like a common problem independent of the actual OS across Intel graphics
devices:
http://askubuntu.com/questions/794440/no-hdmi-video-after-suspend-on-intel-nuc6i7kyk
https://techreport.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=118272
I have tried many kernels from 4.4 to 4.9. All exhibit the same issue.
Currently on Ubuntu 16.10 with the latest intel graphics drivers.
Display port works fine. I have swapped cables and tried different monitors.
Same issue. Rebooting gets nback the hdmi display. On resume, the port looks
dead.
I noticed a similar issue: https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=94014
Please let me know how I can help to debug the issue. Thanks
